September Newsletter

(It's still September 1st, right?)

I was planning on releasing an update earlier today, but then I slept for 14 hours straight and woke up groggy and confused at almost 3pm. Apparently the trip took a lot more out of me than I thought!

The novella is going fairly well, although I did have to restart it a few times. The basic idea is still there, but I’ve already changed the main character, format, and some major plot stuff. That will teach me to try following an outline! I have the first 2k words or so of the first draft written. I’m going to aim for around 10-12 chapters or under 20k words, but I’ll see how it goes. I’m also thinking about doing some Halloween flash fiction again this year, but I’ll see how much I can get done on the novella first.

Hopefully this isn’t too incoherent. I promise I’ll keep resting up over this long weekend and will be back at it soon.
